Alpaca Vinyasa at River Hill Ranch

Do you find deep breathing to be that much more effective in fresh, country air? Would you like to experience relaxing yoga sessions held among our herd of curious ALPACAS??

While goat yoga has become a craze, we prefer alpacas for being curious yet slightly stand-offish. While we love our goats and their antics, for those of us that prefer our space, alpacas are a respectful alternative. Alpacas may sniff your hair in downward dog, but they will not try to scale your backside!

River Hill Ranch is excited to offer Central’s Kentucky’s first Alpaca Yoga Class coming this Summer!

Our one hour sessions of relaxing yoga are held in a pasture alongside some of our friendly and inquisitive alpacas, and led by one of our knowledgeable and experienced Yoga instructors. If you are an alpaca enthusiast and want to experience a unique place to unwind, you will love participating in yoga at River Hill Ranch. All levels of yoga experience are welcome.


We welcome minors to participate alongside parents. Minors who wish to participate in the class must be accompanied by a participating adult. For accompanying children who do not wish to participate, we have separate childcare available. All accompanying children brought to the ranch during a Yoga Session MUST either participate in the class or attend the child care which is offered during the Yoga Session.


River Hill Ranch is a woman and veteran-owned family farm located in Richmond, KY. The purpose of River Hill Ranch is to promote living simply, with quality before quantity, making everyday decisions to positively impact our world.

River Hill Ranch lives out this purpose by being a family operation responsibly producing environmentally sustainable and healthy products. They further this purpose by opening their ranch gates to the public to come learn how they care from the soil up and by inspiring them to carry the education they’ve gained there into their everyday lives.
